One of the major benefits of joining the MRC is the breadth of free courses that are available. Many of our members have teaching certifications, which they are happy to offer on behalf of the unit.

Paul Nichols, a paramedic who works for Boston MedFlight, offered a CPR and AED refresher class to members who needed to recertify. The training is in accordance with the American Heart Association, and provided individualized training and hands-on practice with manikins.

One member commented after the class, "This is the most FUN I've ever had taking a CPR refresher!"
