Representatives
from MRC units across Massachusetts met for the first
time this year on May 7 in Westboro, at the Wyndham Hotel
on Route 9. When the meeting got underway, the attendees
took turns introducing themselves and saying a few words
about their unit.
The attendees were Mike Bookman, City of Beverly Emergency
Mgt; Cheryl Bushnell and Misty Baker of the Cape Cod MRC
in Dennis; Dawn Sibor and Edward Weiss of the Town of
Brookline; James Michitson, Deborah Chaulk, and Debbie
McLaughlin of the City of Haverhill; Trish Abbott and
Mary Kersell of the City of Easthampton; Josh Shanley
of the Amherst MRC; Nancy Burns and Sandy Collins, Town
of Westford MRC.
The lively forum covered issues of great interest to the
attendees, who agreed to meet quarterly for the rest of
the year, at the same location.
